SPIRAL CUTTERHEAD
The planer is equipped with an oversized spiral cutter head. This provides high chip removal rate, superior surface finish and extremely low noise while cutting. Manufactured from alloy steel, the spiral cutter head is precision machined, tempered, dynamically balanced and precision ground. Four-edge Tungsten carbide knife inserts are fitted in the helical slots of the cutter head. (15 x 15 x 2.5mm solid carbide knives)		  
   
DUSTHOOD
The dust hood with 6" diameter outlet is provided at the outfeed end of the planer for connection to a dust system.



SECTIONAL INFEED ROLLER
The 75mm diameter sectional infeed roller is corrugated. Rubber plugs are fitted in the cast iron sections. Each section has an independent yield of 1/4", making it possible to feed strip stock of varying thicknesses without dangerous kickback.
