The founder of Machine Worx, Roger Taylor, was one of the original owners of Cabinet Vision, Inc. and has been serving the woodworking industry for over 25 years. In addition to building the most widely used software brand of its kind worldwide over the past two decades, Mr. Taylor is also a third generation cabinetmaker and has spent his entire professional career in the woodworking industry. After selling Cabinet Vision, Inc. in 1999, Mr. Taylor remained as President and CEO of the new company for 4 1/2 years successfully merging Cabinet Vision™, Cabinetware™, Planit™ and AlphaCAM™ into one company. Mr. Taylor then left the business to establish Machine Worx. Machine Worx is a full service solution provider - from the highest quality woodworking machinery - to shop automation software - to the latest CNC technology - to the world wide web. In a short time, WORX™ has become the leading technology supplier in the Southeast.

Cabinet Vision™ wins SHOW STOPPER AWARD 1988 Cabinet Vision™ becomes first detailing software to qualify as a CHALLENGERS AWARD FINALIST 1995 Cabinet VisionT wins SHOW STOPPER AWARD at the AWFS Show in Anaheim, CA 1996 Introduced Cabinet Vision Solid™, the industry’s first 32 bit detailing software system 1998 Cabinet Vision, Inc. becomes first and only software company to win the coveted CHALLENGERS AWARD presented at the IWF Show in Atlanta, GA 1999 Cabinet Vision, Inc. is sold in January of 1999 Formed Machine Worx™, LLC 2004 Established exclusive partnership with Omnitech Systems for Selexx CNC Routers 2004 Machine Worx™ wins Omnitech System’s Dealer of the Year for Selexx CNC Routers 2005 WORX™ Industrial Machinery Division is formed in July 2005 2005 Machine Worx™ wins 2nd straight Dealer of the Year for Selexx CNC Routers 2006 Machine Worx™ establishes Master Dealer Network for WORX Industrial Machinery. 2006 Machine Worx™ becomes master stocking dealer for Castle, Inc.
